AlFAFF40NE is indicated tor the treatment of:

a) Neoplasm of the lymphatic and hemopotenc system:
- Hairy cell leukemia (Iricholeukemia)
- Multiple myelorra: maintenance treatment 1or patients during objective remission of the disease after induction treatment.
- Non-Hcdgkin's lymphoma: In the treatment of follicular lymphoma with extensive neoplastic mass, as supplement of the chemotherapy with doxorubicin, cyclophosphamide, tr^yposide and prednisolone.
- Mycosis fungoides
- Chronic myelogenous leukaemia

b) Solid neoplasms:
Kaposi's sarcoma in patients suffering from AIDS (acquired immune deficiency syndrome) with no history of opportunistic infections
- Notable benefit has been noted with some patients suffering from renal carcinoma and malignant melanoma.

c) Viral diseases:
Hepatitis B: treatment of adull patients with chronic active hepatitis В with markers of viral replication, for example positive for HBV-DNA, DNA polymerase or HBeAg.
- Chronic С hepatitis: short-term reduction in the activity of disease in adult patients with chronic acuve С hepatitis with high liver enzyme levels but without hepatic failure.
In the Ireatment of chronic С hepatilis ALFAFERONE is indicated also in association v-.lh Ribavirin 200 tng capsules.
